KSHRM is a local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

SHRM is the leading voice of the human resource profession. It's mission is to empower people and workplaces by advancing HR practices and maximize human potential. With a vision to build a world of work that works for all, SHRM is a comprehensive source of human resource information, training, education, and government representation. SHRM is the foremost expert, convener, and thought leader on issues impacting today’s evolving workplaces. 

 

CKSHRM is a not-for-profit organization focused on the development of individuals in the human resources profession.

CKSHRM Members ringing the bell for Salvation Army at Kroger on December 18th, 2025. CKSHRM also made a $250 donation to both the Salvation Army as well as the New Hope Food Pantry.

2026 Scholarship Applications are now OPEN!

We are excited to officially announce that our CKSHRM scholarship applications are now OPEN! This is a wonderful opportunity for our chapter members and/or their dependents to help further their education, and we encourage anyone interested to apply.

Eligibility for consideration includes: 
 
Applicant must be a current CKSHRM member in good standing or the legal dependent of a current CKSHRM member in good standing

​Applicant must be seekin
g support for post-secondary education at an accredited educational institution

Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA from most recent educational institution

Applicant must have a composite ACT score of 20 or higher

Submit a recommendation letter from a teacher, principal or counselor (high school seniors only)

Submit essay: topic is how this scholarship money would contribute to your long term goals

Scholarship applications must be turned in no later than 06/16/2026. Board will review applications and submit results by June 30, 2026.

Rotary Club Presentation

Three of our local board members: Amy Isola, Erica Sluder, and Mary Beth Bonta presented to the Harrodsburg Rotary Club on July 17th, 2024. 

The presentation included information about our Central Kentucky SHRM chapter, including the purpose as well as other topics included the current state of the workforce in our area and other program offerings. 

Also included in the photo is Caleb Conover, Community Connections Librarian and Harrodsburg Rotarian.
